Hank Pym ("Ant-Man") Cosplay
By Walt Jaschek & Friends
Hi, I'm Walt. But you can call me "Hank." Hank Pym, that is. I cosplay Dr. Henry Pym, creator of Pym Particles and the original Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This site features pics and videos of my ongoing adventures as the character, interacting with other (amazing) cosplayers and various (amazing) fans. Enjoy! - Walt
This shot is from Day One, when the Old Focals glasses arrived, and my Hank Pym "look" first came together. I was trying to perform Michael Douglas-level "seriousness," but in truth I was worn out after a day of shopping for "Pym clothes." Here is the full-length look.
Here's a fun, little Hank Pym Cosplay video short I made with that photo.
Cosplay video: Intro to my Hank Pym (Ant-Man) cosplay
Here's a 60-second overview of my introduction to the world of cosplay, the day in 2018 I attempted the MCU's Hank Pym in cosplay. With a few words on what it means to me. Location: Wizard World Comic-Con, St. Louis, Missouri, USA 2018.
"Quantumania" Poster inspires Hank Pym (Ant-Man) Cosplay
Update 2/2/23: Scored a new poster for "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," and as you will see, it inspired a new round of Hank Pym copsplay pics. There is also a video short of Hank discovering the poster. Is it sent from a different timeline? Or from the Quantum Realm? It has Pym pondering!
Cosplay pics: Hank Pym meets Ant-Man and The Wasp
It was amazing that in the first few minutes of entering this comic-con, I ran into some great Ant-Man and Wasp cosplayers. Only got a few shots before the energy took us in different directions. To these cosplayers, I say, "Hello! Want to do more with you!" Hit me up. Location: Wizard World Comic-Con, St. Louis, Missouri, USA 2018.
Cosplay video: Hank's wife Janet unveils souvenir t-shirt
My wife Randy was a good sport to accompany to this con in a shirt I made for her and cosplay Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym's wife. In this video, though, "Hank" seems surprised by the sentiment on the shirt. Location: Wizard World convention, St. Louis, Missouri, USA, 2018. Here's a still shot of Janet and Hank, followed by a short video version.
Cosplay pics: Hank Pym (Ant-Man) and random, great fans
What an honor it is to be asked to be in pics with people as creative and cool as these. I was just happy many people recognized "Hank." I was afraid fans would say, "Who is that old guy in the lab coat?" Location: Wizard World convention, St. Louis, Missouri, USA, 2018.
Cosplay pic: Hank Pym meets Wonder Woman
The first, fellow cosplayer we ran into at "Hank's" very first comic-con was this incredible Wonder Woman. True story: after we took some shots, a random guy got down his knees and proposed to her. She laughed it off and journeyed on. Location: St. Louis, Missouri, 2018.
Here is a YouTube short about this Wonder Woman photo set.
What is Hank Pym's favorite biography?
Walt tries to imagine it in this #hankpymcosplay #short.
